You’ve heard of “sink or swim”…well when you got that shmoneyyy it’s “drip or drown”…

Keeping it going with his drip series, Drip Or Drown 2 is a follow up to his 2017 Drip or Drown. The 16 song project has features from of course Lil Baby, as well as Young Thug and Playboi Carti. Gunna is signed to Young Thug’s label YSL Records, so at least two of the three features were expected. It also features his newest single “One Call” that has over 11 mill Spotify streams.

Gunna spoke about his inspiration for the album and his lack of features. “It’s me. It’s a project that’s a lot of me, not a lot of features. I’ve been working on it for a while, so I got a lot of hits on there. Like hits, not just a one, two, three thing. Hits,” the Georgia rapper said. He continued, “I feel [the inspiration behind it is] the whole year of 2018 and how everybody just dripped—new songs, new drip. This album inspired me to let you know what I live and die by. I be fresh every day. I’ve been doing it since a child, no exaggeration [laughs]. So that’s me. I’m explaining a little bit about how I feel about my drip.”
