Nipsey Hussle has become a real estate mogul and is bringing change to Crenshaw! He has plans to revamp the shopping plaza off Slauson and Crenshaw.

Nipsey and business partner recently paid “a couple million” for the L-shaped plaza that holds his Marathon store, a taco shop and Boost Mobile outlet. In an article by Forbes he said “before we was renting here, I was hustling in this parking lot.”

Within the next 18 months, the two plan to knock the buildings down and rebuild it into a six-story residential building over a commercial plaza.

Nipsey Hussle is definitely one of hip-hop’s most entrepreneurial artists. He has said, “And it’s possible to monetize your art without compromising the integrity of it for commerce.”

Nipsey told Forbes, “The vision is to launch franchise, there’s such a narrative to this parking lot – that’s a part of my story as an artist.”

He was recently nominated for Best Rap Album at this year’s Grammy’s with Victory Lap. Him and girlfriend, Lauren London, were recently featured in GQ for a California Love article as well!

He’s definitely doing BIG things!
