As if Kanye West doesn’t have enough drama!  The rapper has recently become a forgery victim.

A former friend and G.O.O.D Music associate, acted as Kanye’s rep and began negotiations for Kanye to perform during New York Fashion Week. This impersonator contacted Philipp Plein, who is staging a huge NYFW event this Monday.

The negotiations of the contract were supposedly 7 figures, and included a HUGE advance. This payment was for Ye to perform at the NYFW show.

Let’s just say, Plein was finessed!

Kanye’s signature was forged, and $900,000 was wired as an advance. The identity theft wasted no time, and cleaned out the account!  

Plein is now $900,000 down, and will NOT have Kanye West performing at the show.

Although no comments have been made by Plein, we’re sure he’ll seek legal action and is probably PISSED PISSED!
