Lil Wayne unleashed Tha Carter V in September of 2018 which included features from Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar and one a lot of fans were eager to hear was his track with Xxxtentacion “Don’t Cry.” The track discusses a lot of personal things Wayne has experienced throughout his life.

The visual has a bit of a somber vibe. Tunechi is at some sort of desert oasis with lots of slow motion movements to add dramatic effect. But of course, Weezy is not deserted without going out in style, as he is seen rocking a Louis Vuitton pajama set and larger than life trench coat and leopard collar. The video progresses and he is sitting on a throne of black roses with black rays. The video shares a special dedication to Xxxtentacion with old footage of X and ends with fans chanting “long live X.”

Wayne shared another post on Instagram for X’s birthday of a graphic and the caption “Happy Birthday Xxxtentacion The world misses u slime.”
