Rucci stepped into the Hennessy Lounge at Rolling Loud to chop it up with Justin Credible of the L.A. Leakers.

With his current mixtape For My Dawgz making noise, the rapper revealed that he only freestyles when he is in the booth. Rucci recruited a few Rolling Loud peers such as 1 Take Jay, Az Chike, and AD for the project. The “Go Rucci” lyricist also hinted that more music is on the way for the new year, so expect some features from Shoreline Mafia, RJ Mr. LA, and more.

Rucci filled Justin in on who influenced him as a young artist growing up, citing a connection to both West Coast and Dirty South rap.

Growing up, I listened to Bone Thugs, bro. I listened to Bone Thugs and then when I started getting into high school, I listened to Boosie and Webbie. I f*ck with the West Coast though. But, not to sound cliché, I just love the South more, you feel me? I like street quality music, you feel me?
