Dom Kennedy repp’d all things West Coast after hitting the stage with Nipsey Hussle at this year’s Rolling Loud.
Speaking with the Liftoff’s Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk, Dom details what his latest project, Volume Two’ means to him at this point in his music career. “It’s the first album of the second half of my career. That’s how I introduced it.” Kennedy continues, “ It’s transitioning the Dom Kennedy brand and the O.P.M and what we do into the 2019.”
With 2019 quickly approaching, Dom seems to be taking a behind-the-scenes approach as he’s gearing up to put his focus into more solo music, but also the collaborative O.P.M project that is expected to drop next year as well.
We got a Young Nation project that we working on. We going to get all the artists and kind of showcase them, myself as well. I feel like, when people look back, Volume 2 is definitely going to be heavily appreciated; you know what I’m saying, for the next four years of my career.
Dom not only releases projects as an independent artist but he also claims reign over his own company and roster of artists who look to him as a leading example.
