Approaching the end of his 10-month, one-million-dollar pledge, Colin Kaepernick has announced how the last of his $100,000 donations will be distributed.
The former 49ers Quarterback has been steadily providing donations to several organizations and community initiatives from the sales of 2016 season football jersey. While Kaepernick has been holding down the first $900,000 in donations, the activist has enlisted the help of several of his celebrity friends.
Over the next week and a half, Kaep will give out $10K per day and has asked his friends like Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and more to match his donation to double the total distribution.
Colin took to twitter to announce the plan that kicked off today, January 17th.
My brother Kevin Durant @KDTrey5 has generously decided to match my donation of $10,000, with $10,000 of his own, making the total donation to De-Bug $20,000!!! My brother Kevin, you are truly a champion on, and off the court. #MillionDollarPledge #10for10 https://t.co/aK6dKa5Boa pic.twitter.com/He41wgChCF
