What better way to celebrate your Christmas with your family and honoring those who are no longer with you? 

Jhene Aiko did just that as she honored her late brother Miyagi.

The “WAYS Foundation” is set on bringing financial support to patients in need of cancer treatment, as well as their families.

Miyagi passed back in 2012 from cancer and would always say “Why aren’t you smiling,” which is how they came up with WAYS. 

According to Billboard, Jhene said, “This Christmas, I decided to gift my family with the ‘WAYS Foundation,’ something my family and I have had in the works since the passing of my brother. I decided to make a donation on my family’s behalf in which we plan to continue to help people and families affected by cancer.”

This Christmas, I decided to gift my family with the “WAYS Foundation” in memoriam of my brother, Miyagi. Instead of the traditional gift exchange, I decided to make a donation on my family’s behalf to a beautiful 5 year old girl named Lily Olive Cosby and her family.
