It’s always a good day when N.E.R.D. drops some new music. This time, the supergroup lead by Pharrell recruits one of Hip Hop’s hottest artists, Kendrick Lamar.
Debuted on Beats 1 by Zane Lowe, “Don’t Don’t Do It!” and comes with all the funk and grooviness you’d expect from an N.E.R.D. track. Additionally, the group collaborates with K. Dot on putting forth yet another powerful message, speaking on the injustice taking place in the world.

During the interview with Lowe, Pharrell reveals the track was inspired by Keith Scott, who passed at the hands of the police. This comes just days ahead of N.E.R.D’s upcoming album, No_One Ever Really Dies, slated to drop this Friday, December 15.
